HAT TRICK COMPLETE!  Still time to donate to rink initiative...

THANK YOU to the businesses and individuals that stepped up to accept the challenge issued by the Sioux Falls Stampede Hockey Club  to raise $300,000 for the Scheels IcePlex.  The Stampede Ownership Group, Sioux Falls Sports, LLC, pledged the first $100,000 charitable donation to our Chamber Community Appeals Campaign and asked businesses and individuals to match the $100,000 by the end of March which would trigger another $100,000 gift from the Stampede...raising $300,000 in total during the Hat Trick Challenge.

You responded in spades, and we are pleased to announce the challenge has been met!  Thank you very much Sioux Falls Stampede and all ISA supporters.  We knew you'd come through!  If you haven't had a chance to donate to the new rink yet, it's not too late...we need you!

There has never been a better time to pledge your support.  Click on the red button below to donate online or download a printable pledge card by clicking on the blue button below.

Countless stakeholders and supports have helped our campaign reach the point we are at today -- looking forward to breaking ground in the last quarter of THIS year, with a scheduled opening date of September, 2014.

Thank you to SCHEELS for their substantial gift of $750,000 to the new community ice facility.  The gift becomes part of ISA’s multi-faceted plan to raise $7.7 million – largely from private sources – to construct Phase 1 of an indoor ice complex with three sheets of ice and other spectator amenities.

Thank you to the CITY of SIOUX FALLS – Mayor and Council – for approving $1.5 million in the City’s 2013 CIP budget for the new facility.

Thank you to the countless generous individuals who pledged their personal support and resources to the project.

Thank you to the many businesses that have already pledged their corporate support to our project.

Thank you to Sanford Health for providing 11 acres of prime real estate for the SCHEELS  IcePlex.

All of this news combined means that more than $6 million is secured for the SCHEELS IcePlex.

Thank you to our Leadership Phase and Chamber drive volunteers, who work tirelessly to push us to our end goal.

We are still in fundraising mode, and still needing and accepting gifts and pledges to get to $7.7 million needed for the base facility.

NOW is the time. THIS is the plan.  What an exciting  time for ice sports in Sioux Falls!

Ice Sports Association (ISA) is a South Dakota 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation founded to promote the benefits of all ice-based recreational activities for youth and other ice users in Sioux Falls and the upper Midwest region. The primary goal of ISA is to increase the quality, access and availability of ice in the Sioux Falls area.

ISA is currently conducting a fundraising campaign to raise the equity needed to construct a new indoor ice facility housing three regulation-sized rinks, with room to expand to a fourth rink as demand grows. With awareness that private funds must be the first money into this project, the ISA is nearing the end of its Leadership Phase of fundraising, seeking to raise the first $2 million for this project through private Leadership gifts. As of August 20, 2012 over $1.75 million has been raised in the Leadership Phase, thanks to many generous donors who have stepped up and pledged their support!

Join in our SUMMER CHALLENGE and help us wrap up our Leadership phase of fundraising by pledging your tax-deductible financial support today.  You choose the terms of how and when you pay on your pledge...we only need your commitment to help today.  Once we hit the $2 million mark, we receive an additional $1 MILLION MATCH GIFT.
